Admin Team
Danielle – Receptionist
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I grew up on a ranch and had a horse. I had the opportunity to travel all over California with my horse while competing in English show jumping competitions. After high school I moved to the Seattle area. I worked as an aerospace machinist and a metal finisher for ten years. Later I worked as an electromechanical assembler at Aseptico, a dental instrument company. While at this job, I decided I wanted to become more involved in the dental industry. In 2009 I attended Everest College for 1 year and obtained a Certificate in dental assisting.
When I became an “empty nester” I wanted a new adventure and moved to Alaska in 2013 and have enjoyed it here ever since. I have two grown children, a daughter in Seattle and a son serving in the Army in Korea.
In my spare time I enjoy hotrods, car shows, fishing, camping and off roading.
Debbie – Business Administrator
I am Debbie, the business administrator for the practice. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in computer programming and worked for many years in the banking/computer systems industry. I have been married for 40 years; have three incredibly talented children, and soon will have three grandchildren. I attend church each week. I enjoy crocheting, sewing, reading and playing board and iPad games.
I have been involved in dentistry since I took a 3 month course in dental assisting in 1978. A few years later, I discovered that while I enjoy my interaction with patients in the office, my real passion was in the business aspects of the practice. I oversee all the non-clinical aspects of the office including patient and insurance billing, payments and personnel matters. I love my job because I am a numbers person who enjoys making sure everything is correct.
I believe in volunteering my time and talents and participated in the 2014 Alaska Mission of Mercy in Anchorage. In 2002 I volunteered to work as a dental assistant at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. It was a fabulous experience interacting with athletes and coaches from all over the world.
I am also a Jamberry Nails consultant using my business as a fundraiser to help organizations and individuals raise money for charitable purposes. If you have a cause you are passionate about, give me a call! Let’s raise some money!
